Balikuda: In today’s digital era, students are increasingly using mobile and electronic devices. As a result, the nation is progressing rapidly. However, behind every student’s success, the role of teachers remains crucial. Legislator Sarada Prasanna Jena emphasized that along with the blessings of parents, students must also value the teachings imparted by their teachers for the betterment of the nation.
He expressed these views while attending the Silver Jubilee celebration of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Oshakana, as the chief guest. The event was organized under the leadership of Committee President Aparki Mohanty.
The chief speaker at the event was President Award-winning teacher Subash Chandra Raut. Other notable guests included Balikuda Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Prakash Chandra Pradhan and industrialist Hemanta Rath.
The celebration began with a welcome speech and introduction of guests by the committee secretary. Principal Namita Mohanty presented a commemorative report highlighting 25 years of the school’s journey. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the school’s founding secretary, Krushnachandra Swain. A cultural program followed the formal session of the celebration.
