Jeypore: July 9 [UDN}: The Deputy Director of the Mines Department in Jeypore was caught by the Vigilance team while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹2 lakh.
The official was reportedly apprehended red-handed during the transaction. The Vigilance Department conducted the operation following allegations of corruption. Further investigation into the case is underway. More details are expected to emerge after the inquiry
