Kotpad,May 29:: As the transfer order of current Block Education Officer (BEO) Mr. Swapneswar Nayak to Padia in Malkangiri district has been issued, the Koraput District Education Officer, through order No. 4066 dated 26/06/2026, has directed Mr. Nayak to be relieved from his responsibilities and immediately hand over all official duties to Mrs. Sabitarani Sadangi, Headmistress of Kotpad PM Shri High School.
Following the circulation of this order, a sense of happiness has been observed among teachers and educational circles. It is noteworthy that Mrs. Sadangi joined service as a high school teacher on August 10, 1990, and since then has carried out her duties with great sincerity and efficiency.
Since joining Kotpad PM Shri High School in May last year, she has successfully undertaken several developmental activities and earned high appreciation. Although she is regarded as an experienced, capable, and duty-bound officer, the restoration of the education system, teachers, and educational institutions in the Kotpad region—affected during the tenure of the previous Block Education Officer—is being viewed as a major challenge for her.
However, intellectuals and members of the education community remain optimistic that, because of her administrative skills and efficiency, Mrs. Sadangi will certainly be able to restore the former glory of the education sector in Kotpad Block. Teachers and staff members have also expressed enthusiasm and hope that, under her leadership and with collective cooperation, educational development in the Kotpad region will progress positively.
Now it remains to be seen how effectively Mrs. Sadangi performs her new responsibilities and how widely she is accepted among the teaching community as the new Block Education Officer of Kotpad.
