Bhubaneswar,  Aug 5 [UDN}:The “Har Ghar Tiranga 2026” campaign will be observed in all schools as part of the nationwide celebrations marking India’s Independence Day. The initiative aims to inspire patriotism, strengthen the spirit of national unity, and encourage citizens, especially students, to proudly display the Indian National Flag (Tiranga) at their homes.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will be conducted from August 1 to August 15, 2026. During this period, schools will organize a variety of awareness and participation activities to motivate students, teachers, parents, and the wider community to hoist the national flag at their residences. Educational institutions may also conduct rallies, cultural programs, essay and painting competitions, pledge ceremonies, and other patriotic events to spread the message of love, respect, and pride for the nation.

The campaign encourages every household across the country to participate by displaying the Tiranga with dignity and in accordance with the Flag Code of India. Through this initiative, students will be educated about the history, significance, and values represented by the Indian National Flag, fostering a deeper sense of national identity and civic responsibility.

The nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign will continue until August 15, 2026, culminating in the celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day, with active participation from schools, educational institutions, government departments, and citizens across the country.
