Bhubaneswar,June 5: Guidelines issued for the mandatory use of electric vehicles (EVs) in government work. The Finance Department has released instructions for the purchase of EVs.
The Governor and the Chief Minister can purchase EVs costing up to ₹30 lakh.
The Chief Justice of the High Court and Ministers can also purchase EVs up to ₹30 lakh.
The Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, and Secretaries can purchase EVs up to ₹25 lakh.
District Judges, Collectors, and Superintendents of Police (SPs) can purchase EVs up to ₹20 lakh.
EVs can be purchased after obtaining approval from the Finance Department.
- The district administration organized a district-level public grievance hearing camp where officials listened to the problems and complaints of citizens and assured prompt action for resolving issues related to public services and welfare schemes.
- The Additional Chief Secretary of the Cooperation Department visited several PACS in Khordha district, including Garedupanchana, Majhihara, Sarat, and Shishupalgarh, to review cooperative activities and strengthen the rural cooperative system.
