Brahmapur,: The two-day annual festival of the Ganjam District Senior Artists’ Association was held at Prakasham Hall, Brahmapur. On this occasion, a state-level Dasakathia artists’ convention and a panel discussion on “The Decline of Folk Art Dasakathia: Causes and Solutions” were organized.
The event was inaugurated by veteran Jatra artist Rajendra Mohan Pati. The session was presided over by playwright Umashankar Das. Renowned cultural researcher Dr. Bayamanu Charji attended as the chief guest, along with Dr. Bijaya Chandra Maharana, a senior literary scholar and spiritual practitioner.

During the event, veteran artists were honored for their contributions to the arts.
Subash Chandra Sahu, the secretary of the association, delivered the welcome address and introduced the guests, while Bandana Mahapatra extended the vote of thanks.
On behalf of the forum, a cultural procession and various cultural programs were also scheduled.
