Bhubaneswar: April. 30: After recovering, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari has gone into action mode, emphasizing the resolution of public grievances.
He conducted a detailed review of various developmental projects in Jharsuguda block. The minister directed officials to complete all ongoing projects by May 31 and ensure that projects yet to begin are started by May 7.
He also instructed the Block Development Officer to issue show-cause notices to contractors who are delaying work due to negligence and to cancel work orders if necessary.
Considering the ongoing severe heatwave in Odisha, the minister stressed the need to check the quality of drinking water projects and ensure water supply reaches all villages under Jharsuguda block.
Additionally, he directed the construction of a dedicated water tank in Charbati village under Loisinga Panchayat to improve drinking water availability in the area.
