Phulbani, May 06: The profit generated from the 2nd Kandhamal Lok Mahotsav and Trade Fair has been donated to the Indian Red Cross Society.
The 12-day event was held from April 8 to 19 at Coronation Ground in Phulbani. From the proceeds, an amount of rs11,111 was handed over to the District Collector in the form of a cheque to support the Red Cross fund, aimed at helping poor and needy people during medical emergencies.
Additionally, the trade fair committee contributed ₹3,000 to the Sub-Collector for the same cause. In total, a sum of ₹14,111 was donated.

Senior Member Neel Madhab Mishra
The District Collector appreciated the committee members for their noble initiative and contribution toward humanitarian service.
