Nabarangpur, May 18: The Nabarangpur district team has been announced for the Odisha Women’s Football Tournament 2026, which will be organized in Bhubaneswar under the aegis of the Football Association of Odisha.
A 22-member squad has been selected under the leadership of Rajani Gand. Other players in the team include Tulasa Bhatra, Barsha Panda, Bharati Gand, Kamaleswari Pangi, Kujanti Pujari,
Pushpanjali Hantal, Rashmita Gand, Shanti Gand, Yagyashree Harijan, Anjulata Khara, Barsha Priyadarshini Jena, Disha Hira, Gayatri Sahu, Sansai Gand, Manali Sahu, Rinki Puhan, Surama Malik, Sanali Biswas, and Anita Swain among others.
Hari Santa will accompany the team as coach, while Manisha Palei will serve as manager, informed team trainer and sports teacher Sapan Bairagi.
The tournament has been divided into two groups. A total of 12 teams will participate in the competition. The Nabarangpur team has been placed in Group B and will face the Ganjam district team in the opening match scheduled to begin on the 19th.

Bala Krishna Rao, Secretary Prahallad Tripathy, Joint Secretary Manoj Kumar Pattnaik, Indoor Secretary Krishna Pattnaik, Hockey Secretary Durga Malik, Women’s Secretary Eng. Chandana Mallik, Cricket Secretary Ashok Nayak, and other members of the sports association.
