Chandahandi: Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi and Jharigaon MLA Narasingha Bhatra visited Chandahandi Block and participated in the Thakurani Ghata Yatra held in the villages of Jamdarpada, Bhaludangari, Langapada, Bandhakana, Malga, and Chandahandi, where they received blessings.
They also interacted with local residents to understand their issues and concerns. During a visit to Beheramunda Panchayat, they inspected an under-construction road project under the Rural Development Department and expressed dissatisfaction upon noticing improper water curing in the concrete work.
Additionally, they urged for the speedy completion of a bridge being constructed over the Tel River in Sandhimunda. In Patkhalia Panchayat, they reviewed ongoing road development works.
They also explained various state government development schemes to the public and advised them to take full advantage of these initiatives.
Senior leaders like Gobinda Jain, Mandal President Bhodeb Bagh, Mohan Nayak, Akalu Jali, Basanta Majhi, Chandrabhanu Nayak, Prabhat Suna, Bharat Bagh, Madhusudan Nagesh, Dasharatha Dhurua, Kantheśwar Nayak, Lochan Bagh, Subal Bagh, and Shuku Nayak, along with many BJP workers, were present during the visit.
