Nabarangpur, July 6 {UDN}:  The annual festival of Maa Sunadei was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Mirganiguda in Nabarangpur district under the direct supervision of organizer, social worker, and singer Babu Patra. The three-day event, organized by the Mirganiguda Puja Committee, witnessed a large gathering of devotees and cultural enthusiasts.
The festival featured vibrant cultural performances by Mandel Cultural Institution, Maa Shakti Melody, and Maa Dangar Devi Musical Band, showcasing tribal, Odia, Sambalpuri, and Hindi songs that entertained the audience throughout the celebrations.

On the concluding day, Nabarangpur MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Gouri Shankar Majhi attended as the chief guest, offered prayers at the temple, and extended his greetings to the Puja Committee members for successfully organizing the event. Other distinguished guests included Odisha Sangeet Akademi member Debadas Mahankud, filmmaker Manoj Kumar Patnaik, and Nabarangpur District Kinnar Association Secretary Chumuki Kinnar, who encouraged the organizers and performers.

A major highlight of the festival was the inauguration of the newly formed Maa Dangar Devi Musical Band, established by Sukaman Sagaria (Alu) of Jeypore. Members of the District Kinnar Association, including President Kajal Kinnar and Joint Secretary Preeti Kinnar, blessed the artists and local residents during the occasion.
Several members of the Mirganiguda Puja Committee and local volunteers actively contributed to the successful organization of the annual festival. The District Kinnar Association also appreciated the organizers for inviting its members and promoting social inclusion during the celebrations.
