Launch of “Shree Jagannath Saurabh Sambhar – Part II” Marks Grand Spiritual Gathering as Saints Assemble for Sacred Sahasranama Recitation

Bhubaneswar .May 06:: A religious and cultural gathering was held on the occasion of the launch of “Shree Jagannath Saurabh Sambhar – Part II”, where saints and devotees came together for the recitation of the Shree Jagannath Sahasranama.
The event was organized at the residence of Akshaya Kumar Sahu at Indira Colony, Lingipur, following the auspicious marriage ceremony of his son Ayushman Yajnadatta with Ayushmati Saraswati. Members of the Jagannath Sanskriti Prachar Sansthan (India), family members, relatives, and well-wishers attended the program.
The ceremony featured devotional singing (bhajans) and the chanting of the Sahasranama of Lord Jagannath, coordinated by Arpita Sahu and Sanjay Sahu. Eminent personalities including Dr. Narayan Mahapatra, Suresh Mishra, Trilochan Nayak, Bansidhar Nayak, Bijay Mohan Panda, Sarat Mahapatra, Shanta Prafulla Das, Basant Kumar Dani, Prashant Patra, Mrutyunjaya Mohanty, Bharati Bhushan Pattanayak, Chaitanya Nayak, Srinivas Rao, and others were present.
At the beginning of the program, saints were ceremonially welcomed by washing their feet and honoring them with ফুল (flowers) and uttariya (traditional scarves). They were then offered fruits such as grapes and watermelon. Around 70 saints participated and blessed the newlywed couple, offering their spiritual messages and good wishes.
On this occasion, the book “Shree Jagannath Saurabh Sambhar – Part II”, prepared by the Jagannath Sanskriti Prachar Sansthan for the promotion and propagation of Lord Jagannath’s culture, was formally released by the saints and distinguished guests.
