High-Level Review Meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan Issues Directions for Proper Rehabilitation and Resettlement of Land Acquisition-Affected People in Coal Mining Areas of Angul

 Angul, May 06:  A high-level review meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan, instructions were issued to ensure proper rehabilitation and resettlement of people affected by land acquisition processes in coal mining areas of Angul, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh districts. It was emphasized that the lives of common people cannot be put at risk for mining and industrial activities.
As a pro-people government, it is our responsibility to prioritize the interests, safety, and development of the general public. In this regard, a new ‘Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy’ will be implemented by the state government in the coming days to safeguard the interests of the people.
