Kotpad: Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhattarai has inaugurated lighting arrangements at various religious sites. Lights have been installed at multiple temples, mosques, and dargahs in the Panthi area of the constituency. Previously, places like the graveyard and dargah in Kenduguda, Kotpad, remained dark due to lack of lighting, causing difficulties, especially on the way to Kunjaguda.
Today, Anjuman Committee President M.T. Salim, along with other officials, met the MLA and informed him about the issue. Within 12 hours of raising the concern, the demand was fulfilled. Floodlights were installed in front of the dargah. Following the installation, the lights were inaugurated by MLA Rupu Bhattarai on behalf of the Kotpad Muslim Committee.
After the inauguration, the MLA also visited the dargah. Senior and junior members of the Kotpad Muslim community were present at the event and extended their full support.
