Installation Ceremony of Panchavriksha and Shakti Peetha Conducted Amidst Devotional Fervor

Malkangiri : The installation ceremony of Panchavriksha (Five Sacred Trees) and Shakti Peetha was held today in the premises of Jagatara Nath Jagannath Temple, located in Mathili block headquarters of Malkangiri district.

Under the guidance of Chief Priest Seemanchal Patra, a long-cherished dream was fulfilled through this religious event. The Chief Priest Seemanchal Patra, along with Assistant Priest Prashant Kumar Patra and Vikas Paricha, conducted the rituals of installation in traditional Vedic style.

Basanta Kumar Panda and his wife Pramila Panda took responsibility as the main organizers and carried out all the rituals with deep devotion, ultimately dedicating the Panchavriksha and Shakti Peetha to the general devotees. Shri Panda informed that this initiative is now open for public worship.

Present at the auspicious occasion were Narasingha Nayak, village head of Mathuli, Shri Prasad Paricha, President of the Brahmin Society, Mani Kumar, President of the Youth Association, as well as Bikram Choudhury and Jitu Choudhury, who all extended their full support to the event.

A large number of local devotees participated in the installation ceremony, and on behalf of the temple, Mahaprasad (sacred food offering) was arranged and served to the devotees.
