Delhi A significant decision by the Central Government to improve road safety. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) will be mandatory in all new two-wheelers sold in the country. This rule will come into effect from January 2026. All two-wheeler manufacturers will be required to install ABS in their vehicles. Regardless of engine capacity, every company, including entry-level bike makers, must implement this system.
