Bhubaneswar: The government will construct guest houses in Bhubaneswar for people from every district. This will ensure that visitors from different districts do not face problems finding accommodation when they come to the state capital. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari shared this information.
He stated that 100-room guest houses will be built at various locations in Bhubaneswar, each designated for a specific district and named accordingly. Every day, people from different districts visit the capital for healthcare, education, and to access other government services. These visitors often face accommodation challenges. Many poor people, unable to afford lodging, end up spending the night at railway stations or on footpaths, while some have to spend money to stay in hotels.
These proposed guest houses will be of great help to such people. However, no specific timeline has yet been announced regarding when the construction will begin or be completed.
