Bhubaneswar, Sept 28 [UDN}:Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond has spoken about the errors found in school textbooks, assuring that steps are being taken to provide students with corrected and error-free books at the earliest.
The Minister said the process of preparing the corrected textbooks is currently underway, and proof-reading is being carried out carefully to identify and rectify mistakes before the books are supplied to students.
He said the government is conscious of the need to ensure that similar errors do not recur in the textbooks in future. Necessary measures are being taken to strengthen the checking and proof-reading process during the preparation of school textbooks.
“Correct textbooks are being prepared and proof-reading is being undertaken. The government is taking all necessary precautions to ensure that no further mistakes come to light,” Minister Nityananda Gond said.
He further stated that the government is making arrangements to ensure that error-free textbooks are provided to students as soon as possible.
