Malkangiri: A retirement farewell and felicitation ceremony was organized at the FLC Hall of the Collector’s Office in Malkangiri.
The event honored several retiring officials and staff members from the Collector’s Office, including:
Deputy Collector Uma Prasad Das
Section Officer Hemanta Kumar Raut
Senior Revenue Assistants Suresh Behera and Sukanta Behera
Peon Arjun Nayak, who all retired in the month of June.
The ceremony was organized by the Collectorate in recognition of their dedicated service. District Collector Ashish Ishwar Patil, the chief guest at the event, praised Deputy Collector Uma Prasad Das for his efficient and dedicated work throughout his career. He highlighted that Mr. Das had successfully handled responsibilities not only in the Revenue Department, but also in Establishment and Education departments.
Originally from Gudari in Rayagada district, Mr. Das began his career in 1989, and served in various capacities across the undivided Koraput district during his long administrative tenure.
Likewise, Section Officer Hemanta Kumar Raut and Senior Revenue Assistants Suresh Behera and Sukanta Behera started their service in Malkangiri district in 1996.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of ADM (Revenue) Mr. Pradhan, during which all present extended their best wishes to the retiring officials and staff for a peaceful and fulfilling retired life.
During the event, souvenirs, shawls, and floral bouquets were presented as tokens of appreciation to the retiring individuals.
