BJD Holds Block-Level Workers’ Conference, Felicitates New Leaders in Korukonda

Malkangiri A block-level workers’ conference and felicitation ceremony for new functionaries was organized today by the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) at the premises of Subaleswar Temple, the block headquarters of Korukonda Block in Malkangiri district.

During the meeting, there was discussion on how to strengthen the party at the panchayat level and about the developmental activities undertaken by BJD in different regions over the years.

The leaders emphasized the importance of securing victory in the upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections, and urged everyone to work unitedly under the leadership of CM Naveen Patnaik.

To strengthen the party’s base at the grassroots, 12 panchayat-level presidents were selected for future roles. The selected candidates for various panchayats include:

Kailash Dora for Korukonda Panchayat

Dev Padiami for Potrel Panchayat

Niranjan Tarlakota for Dudameta Padiami

Mukund Kabasi for Mariwada Panchayat

Neela Kamperu for Maheshwar Polai Panchayat

Mukund Madkami (Dakami) for Chimita Palli

Raju Madkami for Tumusa Palli

Ganesh Pradhan for Somanathpur

Sadhan Mandal for Kambeda

Buduburu Burudi for Chitapari-3

Samara Gudia for Nakha Mamudi Gram Panchayat

These individuals were entrusted with the responsibility of acting as panchayat presidents.

Other notable attendees included Uma Shankar Sahu, Mangaraj Babu, Madhab Sabat, and several other block-level BJD workers, who contributed to the success of the meeting.
