ECI Launches Two-Day Training for 500 Field Staff; Six Officials Represent Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: The Election Commission of India has launched a two-day capacity-building program for 500 field-level staff members. The training is being held at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), located in New Delhi, specifically for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and their supervisors. This is the 13th batch of such training programs.

India’s Chief Election Commissioner, Shri Gyanesh Kumar, inaugurated the program and addressed all 500 participants. A total of 53 officials from Odisha are attending the training.

From Nabarangpur district, the following six individuals are participating:

Prakash Mishra, Sub-Collector

Sumata Patra, Tahsildar of Jharigam

Motilal Gand, Teacher (BLO)

Satyabrata Kar

Santosh Patra

Prakash Panda

Election preparedness

The Representation of the People Acts of 1950 and 1951

Voter Registration Rules, 1960

Model Code of Conduct, 1961

and the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India

He stated that this training program is essential to ensure proper execution of these responsibilities.
