Bhubaneswar, May 21: The results of the Class 12 examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education were declared on May 13. Students can apply to receive scanned copies of their answer sheets online. Earlier, the last date for application was May 22, but CBSE has now extended the deadline by one more day. Interested students can submit their applications online till May 23.
A notification regarding this extension has been issued by CBSE. According to the notification, several complaints were received regarding technical issues faced during the application process. Keeping the interests of students in mind, the board decided to extend the deadline.
Students will have to pay a fee of ₹100 per subject to obtain the scanned copy of their answer sheets.
It is noteworthy that this year, CBSE conducted online evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets for the first time. Compared to the previous year, the overall pass percentage has also declined this year. Parents and students have expressed dissatisfaction over the online marking system.
