Umerkote: July 20 [UDN}: Yugala Sabar has assumed charge as the new Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Umerkote Police Station. Prior to this posting, he was serving at Maidalpur Police Station. The former IIC, Bipin Kumar Bagh, has been transferred to the Nabarangpur Cyber Police Station.
Mr. Sabar officially took charge on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that his top priorities would be maintaining traffic discipline, preventing theft and robbery, and ensuring law and order in the town. He also emphasized the prompt resolution of public grievances and strengthening night patrolling to improve public safety.
In addition, strict action will be taken against drunk drivers and reckless motorcycle riders to ensure safer roads and better enforcement of traffic rules.
