Workshop Held on Electrical Safety and Security Awareness

Athagarh: An Electrical Safety and Security workshop was organized at Athagarh Electrical Division under the joint initiative of TPCODL and with the support of Keystone Solutions, responsible for the operation and maintenance of the electricity supply.
The divisional workshop was held at the Lunch Land Hotel near Chatabara village. Employees of Athagarh Electrical Division and their family members actively participated.

The workshop, coordinated by Asim Abhijit Das, Operations Head of Keystone Solutions, Athagarh Division, had several dignitaries in attendance. Chief Guest Rajesh Sharma, the State Chief Safety Officer of Tata Power (TPCODL), addressed the gathering.
Eminent speakers included Ravi Bharati, Head of Transmission and Distribution, Amarjeet Pattnayak, Superintending Engineer of Cuttack Circle, Executive Engineer Jitendra Kumar Patra, Chief Safety Officer of Cuttack Circle Chirag Bhavasar, Subhashish Swain, Operations Director of Keystone Solutions, and Soumendra Tripathy, Joint Operations Director of Keystone Solutions.

They all emphasized that employee safety and security should be the top priority for any power distribution company.
Special focus was placed on field employees, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing personal safety during work, proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), checking power supply before starting work, abstaining from alcohol or any intoxicants during duty, and strictly following established safety regulations.

Company officials present at the event also answered various questions raised by the employees and their family members regarding safety.
Employees who had shown exceptional dedication towards ensuring safety were awarded certificates and prizes during the workshop.
