Raighar: An awareness rally under the Watershed Project was organized in Nuapara under the Raighar Block. The event was attended by Block Chairman Gupta Prasad Jhankar, MP Representative Pritisnigdha Mahapatra, Zilla Parishad Vice-Chairperson Lipika Baroi, and BDO Vijay Kumar Sethi, among others.
The event, organized by the Government of India, featured the inauguration of an awareness vehicle. During the occasion, the public was educated about watershed management, soil erosion prevention, and rainwater conservation. The discussions also emphasized the importance of environmental protection for future generations.
Key attendees included District Project Director Chakradhar Mishra, Additional Project Director Pramod Kumar Behera, Local Project Officer Pratik Kumar De, and SCWD Surendranath Tudu.
