Papadahandi, The annual festival was celebrated at Chandrapur Ashram School in Papadahandi Block, Nabarangpur District. The event was conducted under the guidance of the school’s headmaster, Shri Dasharath Jani.
The chief guest for the occasion was the block representative of Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi, while the guest of honor included District Welfare Officer Shri Palaka Rabindra, Deputy Welfare Officer Shri Bharat Chandra Sahu, Srimati Nibedita Bishwal, MLA Representative Shri Rajani Kant Sasmal, former Sarpanch Shri Shiva Prasad Agrawal, and others. Also present were Santosh Tripathi, headmaster of Patraput Ashram School, Pravati Behera, principal of Papadahandi Girls’ High School, and other dignitaries.
The event began with the students welcoming the guests with great enthusiasm. Headmaster Shri Dasharath Jani delivered the inaugural speech and presented the annual report. The chief guest and other distinguished guests delivered motivational speeches to the students.
During the event, students who excelled in various competitions were awarded prizes by the chief guest and honored guests. As per state government initiatives, all students were provided with notebooks, pens, and compasses to support their education.
Following this, the students performed various cultural programs, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The event was coordinated by Shri Ratikanta De from Badamasigaon.
The school management committee, teachers, students, and parents expressed joy and enthusiasm throughout the festival. Among those who contributed to the event were teachers Shri Nanda Kishore Mati, Shri Rajendra Saira, Shri Gangadhar Bisoi, Srimati Shantilata Sahu, Matron Didis Sanyukta Pattnayak, ANM Kalpana Nayak, and others.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Headmaster Shri Dasharath Jani, marking the successful completion of the event.
