Padmapur: Vikram Kesari Mahant has gained attention for resolving numerous issues through social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He has successfully addressed over 6,000 issues, earning praise from various quarters.
Vikram Kesari Mahant (24), a resident of Birakishorepur village in the Nuagaon Panchayat of Kendujhar Sadar block, has been posting on X about different issues in the district and other regions. Following his posts, the district administration, along with state officials in various key positions, has promptly taken steps to resolve these problems. These issues include water supply, electricity, education, roads, housing, and health-related concerns, all of which have been resolved swiftly.
Vikram, a graduate in Political Science from Padmapur Degree College, started using his Twitter account in 2019 to bring public issues to the administration’s attention. Former Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena praised Vikram for his efforts, calling him to the Bhubaneswar office for recognition. Additionally, Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar advised Vikram to continue his social service work and even presented him with a smartphone to assist in his efforts.
Vikram’s work has also been supported by voluntary organizations like Life Savers and others. With the current Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mohan Charan Majhi being the Chief Minister, the issues raised by Vikram are being addressed more promptly. Vikram has expressed that he will continue his efforts to ensure better facilities for the people and is now widely known on X for his work in public service.
