Bhubaneswar, Private schools have 25percent of seats reserved for underprivileged children to study for free. To apply for admission under this scheme, the Transparent Portal will open on March 18. The School Education Directorate has issued guidelines for the process, ensuring ease of application.
Schools must complete registration and document verification by March 31.
The first phase of student registration (application submission) will be open from March 18 to April 20.
Document verification for the first phase applicants will take place until April 23.
A lottery draw for seat allocation will be conducted on April 24, followed by admission in schools from April 25 to May 10.
The second phase of registration will begin on May 26, with admissions taking place from May 27 in eligible schools.
Final cutoff for remaining students will be June 10.
This initiative aims to provide equal educational opportunities for children from economically weaker sections.
