Dhenkanal: A pilgrimage turned into the final journey. A tragic incident occurred while on a pilgrimage with his family. Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gnyanaranjan Mishra, reportedly passed away due to a heart attack.
According to family sources, he had taken leave on the 7th to travel with his family to Vaishno Devi temple and other pilgrimage sites. He died in the morning following a heart attack. Mishra was known for his spiritual nature, honesty, simplicity, and pure-hearted personality.
Following the news, the Dhenkanal District Police paid tribute and expressed deep condolences. Dhenkanal SP Abhinav Sonkar shared his sorrow and prayed that Goddess Vaishnavi provides strength to the bereaved family. The entire district of Dhenkanal is in mourning after the incident.
