Malkangiri, May 15: A summer sports event was organized by the Trade India Trust at Girikanpalli Panchayat headquarters in Padia Block of Malkangiri district, involving students from various schools.
Students from schools in Girikanpalli, Padia, and neighboring Dubatota village of Chhattisgarh participated in different sports competitions such as Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Cricket, Volleyball, and several other games.
On this occasion, Padia Block Chairperson Deve Madi attended as the chief guest. Among the distinguished guests were Trade India Trust Director M. Basant Raj, M. Sumant, Vinay Kumar Islabat, Nagulu Samson, Gobinda Sardar, Chinam Anok, and Madri China, along with several local leaders.
It has been reported that the competition will continue until the 11th of the month. The event was coordinated and managed by P. Bayaj, Chinam David, and Bartini Bhaskar Rao, among others.
