Nabarangpur, May 30: Suman Gupta, a girl from Nabarangpur, has secured the 15th rank in the Odisha Civil Services Examination. Her father, Mukesh Gupta, is a businessman, while her mother, Lakshmi Devi, is a homemaker.
Suman completed her graduation with Honors in Chemistry from Nabarangpur College in 2020. Since then, she had been continuously preparing for the Odisha Civil Services Examination. She achieved success in her fourth attempt. Earlier, she had qualified three times but could not reach the final stage.
Suman expressed gratitude to the state government for making Jeypore an examination centre, which has greatly benefited students from the undivided Koraput district.
Having witnessed problems related to education, transportation, and healthcare in her region since childhood, Suman said that wherever the government appoints her in the state, she will prioritize improving these issues.
