Kotpad, A memorial speech competition in honor of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das was organized at the Kotpad Gopabandhu Library.
The event was held under the chairmanship of Library President Ganesh Chandra Panda. At the beginning of the program, floral tributes were paid to Utkalmani. Speaking on the occasion, it was said that Gopabandhu Das’s contribution to the identity of the Odia language, culture, and service to humanity will always serve as an inspiration for the youth and student community.
The chief guests present at the event included Municipal Chairperson Shankar Rao, Jitendra Mahapatra, Bar Association President Mani Pattnaik, former president Pankaj Kumar Patra, Sudhir Mahanti, Prakash Chandra Mahanti, and Bidyut Lata Bakshi.
On this occasion, a speech competition among students was conducted by the Lok Sevak Mandal, and three best-performing students were awarded.
The judges for the competition were Pankaj Mahanti, Sanyukta Mahapatra, Pushpa Mahanti, Ratikanta Mahanti, and Gour Chandra Mahanti. The event was hosted by Pradeep Bakshi on behalf of the Lok Sevak Mandal.
