Shashibhusan Dash, President of the Odisha Clerical Association (Koraput district branch), also addressed the gathering on behalf of the Koraput unit.

The meeting focused on pressing issues such as:

Clearing pending dues of employees,

Providing house rent allowances based on the 7th Pay Commission,

Granting pensions,

Ensuring job appointments to one family member of deceased employees as per the old rule,

Paying dearness allowance (DA),

Settling salary for earned leave, and

Ensuring fair pay for all employees based on their qualifications.

It was collectively agreed that a State Convention will be held on February 24 in Brahmapur, during which elections and appointments for key posts of the Un-Gazetted Employees Coordination Committee will be conducted. After this, a formal memorandum will be submitted to the government, along with a warning for action if demands are not fulfilled.
