State Home Department Issues Notification Regarding Ajit Kumar Pattnaik, Govt Advocate at Rayagada Court

Rayagada According to a notification from the State Government’s Home Department, Ajit Kumar Pattnaik, a government advocate at the Rayagada District Court, officially took charge as the Deputy Director of Gajapati District on Wednesday. Along with this new role, he will also continue to handle additional responsibilities in Rayagada district, as per reports.

It is noteworthy that on the 9th of this month, the state government promoted 19 working government advocates to the post of Deputy Director. Mr. Pattnaik had previously served with distinction as a government advocate in Rayagada district.

On this occasion, government advocates of the Rayagada District Court organized a welcome ceremony to honor Ajit Pattnaik’s appointment as Deputy Director. Senior government advocate Braja Sundar Nayak and in-charge government advocate Ramprasad Patra felicitated him with a traditional stole and bouquet.

Among others present were Khadanga, Biraja Prasad Patra, Harihar Kahanra, Jagannath Dora, M. Yogamaya, Nrusinghanath Shadangi, and senior stenographer Ganesh Sabar, who congratulated Mr. Pattnaik.

Mr. Pattnaik stated that he will work in coordination between the Investigation and Prosecution Departments, ensuring justice for the public and strict punishment for offenders.

Alongside his appointment, Bikram Kumar Kundu, who was previously serving as Additional Public Prosecutor in Berhampur, has now been posted as the new Public Prosecutor in Rayagada.
