Severe Rainfall Causes Widespread Damage in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh: Heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in several parts of Himachal Pradesh. So far, 78 people have lost their lives in this severe weather. Out of these, 50 deaths are directly linked to rain-related incidents. Most of the fatalities occurred in Mandi district, and the death toll continues to rise. Public infrastructure across the state has been severely disrupted. Many regions are experiencing flooding, cloudbursts, and landslides. Areas like Siraj and Thunag have been cut off from road connectivity. Relief and rescue operations are ongoing for affected individuals.
