Retail Outlets to Be Designated as Authorized Stops for Buses and Trucks to Streamline Highway Services and Improve Transport Efficiency

Cuttack:May 21: Important decisions taken at a meeting chaired by the Transport Commissioner.

Decision taken to reserve separate petrol pumps for buses and trucks.

Retail fuel outlets for buses and trucks will be identified in every district.

Operators will provide a list of the fuel stations from which they had been purchasing fuel earlier.

Adequate diesel stock will be maintained at those designated outlets.

This will ensure that the movement of buses and trucks is not disrupted in any way.
