Baipariguda: The Youth Red Cross State Branch organized an award ceremony on Friday at the Abhishek Auditorium of the Governor’s Residence in Bhubaneswar. The event saw participation from around 300 counselors and volunteers from all 30 districts of the state.
Manasi Acharya, a counselor from Saheed Laxman Nayak +3 College, Baipariguda, was honored with the Best Counselor Award (2011-2014) for Koraput district by Governor Haribabu Kambhampati. Additionally, three volunteers—Tulabati Gauda, Mahendra Falma, and Ramesh Harijan—were also awarded the Best Volunteer Award by the Governor.
Expressing gratitude for this prestigious honor, Manasi Acharya credited her college principal, Snehilata Pattnayak, for the achievement. She also acknowledged the blessings of Lord Jagannath, the support of her family, friends, and fellow volunteers, and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all.
This recognition is undoubtedly a matter of pride and honor for Baipariguda block.
