Umarkote: The grand Ratna Muda Installation Ceremony was held at the Sri Badal Rao Deb Temple in Rajpur village under Umarkote Block of Nabarangpur district.
Former Member of Parliament (MP) of Nabarangpur, Ramesh Chandra Majhi, attended the event as the chief guest.
Sri Badal Rao Deb is the son of Sri Sri Sri Bhairav Deb of Muttha, Hirapur, Barigaon, and Paria. Earlier, there was only a small shrine at this location. With financial assistance from the previous government and the support of all the farmers of the village, the shrine was transformed into a grand temple.
Among other guests, priests from each Mouza (region) of Hirapur Muttha and Majhi participated in the event. The temple was constructed by Lakinaath Majhi, and the event was successfully organized by Purushottam Bhatara of Rajpur village.
