Bhubaneswar, Aug 19 [UDN}:Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reviewed the rainfall situation and the status of train operations in the eastern region of the country.
He directed the General Manager of South Eastern Railway to closely monitor railway tracks affected by waterlogging and ensure that train services continue smoothly and safely.
He also emphasized deploying additional resources along railway routes in areas such as Rupsa–Baripada–Bangriposi and Rourkela–Bondamunda, with a focus on ensuring the safe and uninterrupted movement of trains.
