Koraput , May 14: A new Express train will soon run between Puri and Koraput, operating three days a week. The train will travel from Puri to Koraput via Sambalpur.
The train will have 19 stoppages. It will depart from Puri on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while from Koraput it will leave on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The train will stop at Khordha Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Tikiri, Laxmipur Road, Kakiriguma, and Damanjodi.
The train service is expected to begin very soon. As this fulfills a long-standing demand of the local people, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has thanked Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
This train will connect Shreekhetra with Shabar Srikhetra
