He emphasized that, during the aftermath of floods, special attention must be given to protecting the public from waterborne diseases, infections, and other health-related risks. Necessary healthcare services, medical assistance, medicines, sanitation measures, clean drinking water, and preventive healthcare facilities should be made readily available to affected communities. The government remains committed to taking all possible steps to safeguard the health and well-being of people in flood-hit areas and to provide timely support and medical care to those in need.
