Preparatory Meeting Held at District Headquarters Hospital for Successful Conduct of Chief Minister’s Vayu Health Service Camp

Malkangiri, May 11: A preparatory meeting was held regarding the Chief Minister’s Vayu Health Service Camp, which is scheduled to be organised at the District Headquarters Hospital from May 12 to May 15, 2026.
The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of District Headquarters Hospital Superintendent Dr. Choudhury Nihar Ranjan Praharaj. Additional District Public Health Officers, senior doctors of the district headquarters hospital, hospital administrators, and senior nursing staff attended the meeting.
During the camp, specialist doctors from across the state, including neurologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, laparoscopic surgeons, and other surgical specialists, will provide medical consultation and treatment services. Surgical procedures are also planned as part of the camp.
To create awareness among the public regarding the camp and the availability of specialist doctors, arrangements have been made for publicity through public announcement systems across all seven blocks of the district, as well as in Malkangiri and Balimela urban areas.
The district administration has appealed to more and more patients to participate in the camp and avail themselves of free health check-ups and treatment services.
The District Health Department has further requested all residents of the district that if any member of their family is suffering from the above-mentioned diseases, they should bring them to the camp between May 12 and May 15 to receive proper health examinations and treatment from specialist doctors.
