Police Conduct Public Outreach Camp to Strengthen Community Relations

Nabarangpur: A public outreach camp was organized in Padamjhari village of Kursha Panchayat, Umerkote block, with the joint initiative of Nabarangpur and Umerkote police. The event commenced with a traditional welcome by the villagers for the chief guest, District Superintendent of Police Mihir Kumar Panda. He was ceremonially greeted, and the event proceeded accordingly.

Following the inauguration, various activities were conducted, including volleyball and cricket matches, followed by cultural performances.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Umerkote Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Subhendu Sabar, Assistant Commandant (Anti-Naxal Squad) Satya Ranjan Pal, Umerkote In-Charge Inspector Shivaji Kumar Panda, Sub-Inspector Akshay Kumar Ditha, and DVF personnel.

As part of the camp, health check-ups were conducted for the villagers, and free medicines were distributed. Additionally, sarees were provided to women, study materials to students, sports equipment to youths, and blankets, umbrellas, and solar lights to elderly individuals. These items were distributed by the attending dignitaries.
