Collector Grants Rs30,000 from Red Cross Fund to Support Rinki

Ambadola: A dream will come true, and now she can pursue nursing studies. The dream of selflessly serving tribal-dominated remote areas as a nurse is now set to become a reality. Rinki Saraka, an orphaned tribal girl, has received financial assistance from the district administration of Rayagada, thanks to the impact of a news report.

A news article titled “Financial Constraints Blocking Education, Awaiting Government Help”, published in the ‘Sarkar’ newspaper on February 28, caught the attention of Rayagada District Collector Parul Patwari, who immediately took action.

Rinki, a 21-year-old orphan from Himbrus village in Chandrapur block, has now received Rs30,000 from the Red Cross Fund through direct bank transfer. On Saturday, she was called to the Rayagada District Collector’s office, where the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) handed over the sanction letter in the absence of the Collector.

Rinki’s Determination to Become a Nurse

With this assistance, Rinki no longer has to struggle for her education. Expressing her gratitude, she said that this help has strengthened her resolve to complete her studies and move forward. Unlike most young people who spend their time socializing, Rinki’s only dream is to study nursing and serve her community.

The district administration recognized the nobility of her ambition and acted promptly to support her. Rinki’s ultimate goal is to provide healthcare services to the poor in her community, believing that serving humanity is equivalent to serving God. She is determined to dedicate herself to the healthcare sector.

The District Collector’s Generosity

The generous and compassionate intervention of District Collector Parul Patwari has been widely appreciated. Rinki’s elder sister, who works as a migrant laborer in Karnataka, also feels relieved as this financial aid has reduced the burden on her shoulders.

Moved by Rinki’s struggles, the Collector immediately approved financial support, earning heartfelt gratitude from Rinki, her sister, relatives, and the villagers.
