Bhubaneswar: Piyush Tripathy will not perform on the pendal stage this year; he will take a break for a year. He returned ₹1 crore 15 lakh in cash. Jatra (folk theatre) artist Piyush Tripathy returned ₹60 lakh to Surya Mandir and ₹55 lakh to Singhbahini. The Jatra party owner clarified that Piyush himself returned the money. Also, Piyush has not been banned. According to the association, he is taking a break this year due to personal/family issues.
