Phulbani,Sept 8 [UDN}: New office-bearers of the Phulbani Traders’ Association were elected following the completion of the tenure of the previous committee.
Well-known businessman, former president of the Narayani Yatra Committee, social worker and Rotarian P. Sudhanshu Shekhar Senapati was unanimously appointed as the President of the association. Social worker and businessman Arun Kumar Panda was appointed as the Secretary.
Similarly, Kabula Senapati was appointed as Vice-President, Rabi Patra as Treasurer, and Rotarian Sanjit Patra as Joint Secretary.
The association also appointed an advisory committee comprising prominent businessmen and Rotarians, including Padma Charan Swain, Saswara Patra, Prasanna Kumar Patnaik, Durga Tripathy, and Pradyumna Panda.
Newly elected President P. Sudhanshu Shekhar Senapati said that the new committee would focus on resolving the problems faced by traders in the city and safeguarding their interests. He further stated that the association would also undertake various social service activities.
He appealed to all members and stakeholders to extend their wholehearted cooperation for the successful functioning of the new committee.
