Nabarangpur, May 08:: A five-day Parents’ Meeting was held at Gurukrupa Public School, one of the leading educational institutions in Nabarangpur district.
The programme was presided over by Principal Monalisa Rath, and a large number of parents participated in the meeting. Discussions were held in detail regarding the academic progress of students in this remote region, their examination performance, regular attendance, and the importance of maintaining discipline in the school. Parents were also urged to cooperate with the school authorities in these matters.
Emphasis was also given to students’ participation in sports and cultural activities along with academic learning. Parents directly interacted with teachers regarding various issues related to their children, and teachers provided necessary guidance and solutions.
Since all parents actively participated in the five-day meeting, senior teachers Hamida Babu and Rashmita Samal expressed their gratitude.
Institution Director Sachin Das stated that such meetings help strengthen the relationship between teachers and parents and contribute to shaping students’ future. He also emphasized that overall development of students cannot be achieved only through good examination scores; strong foundational knowledge is essential, and effective coordination between teachers and parents is necessary for this purpose, said Public Relations Officer Eng. Chandana Mallik.
