Bhubaneswar, Sept. 8 (UDN): The Odisha government has assigned nine IAS officers of the 2024 batch to Sub-Collector posts across several districts following completion of their Phase-II training.

The General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department issued a notification on Monday announcing the postings, with the officers also designated as Sub-Divisional Magistrates in their respective jurisdictions.
Nine Officers Get Field Postings
As per the notification, the new assignments are:
Animesh Pradhan — Sub-Collector, Athagarh, Cuttack district
Prajnanandan Giri — Sub-Collector, Talcher, Angul district
Kasturi Sha — Sub-Collector, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi district
Fabi Rasheed — Sub-Collector, Koraput
Shubhra Panda — Sub-Collector, Jeypore, Koraput district
Mrinalika Rathore — Sub-Collector, Rayagada
Pawan Kumar — Sub-Collector, Titilagarh, Balangir district
Bhagat Shamal Kalyanrao — Sub-Collector, Paralakhemundi, Gajapati district
Santosh Kumar Patra — Sub-Collector, Bonai, Sundargarh district
Officers To Take Up Sub-Divisional Responsibilities
The appointments mark the officers’ transition to key field-level administrative roles after their Phase-II training.
As Sub-Collectors and Sub-Divisional Magistrates, they will be responsible for coordinating administration within their respective subdivisions and handling duties assigned under the applicable administrative and statutory framework.
The postings were issued by the GA&PG Department on behalf of the Governor of Odisha.
