Bhubaneswar, 21st Aug 2025: The Chief Minister Mohan Majhi reviewed the Health Department recently. 1,840 doctors and over 5,000 paramedical staff will be appointed very soon. The CM has directed that professor-level positions in medical colleges be filled quickly. More doctors will be appointed in tribal-dominated and under-served areas. Discussions covered issues such as doctor vacancies, appointments, salaries, and increasing seats in medical education. The CM has instructed the Health Secretary to take appropriate steps to implement these measures promptly.
