Bhubaneswar, May 15: A New Initiative for the Development of Cooperative Infrastructure and Farmers’ Prosperity
In an effort to strengthen the cooperative system and accelerate the rural economy of Odisha, the foundation stone has been laid in Mahanga Block for the construction of office buildings and 50-metric-ton capacity warehouses in five Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS), along with a new market complex of Kendupatana RMC, at an estimated cost of ₹2 crore.
The foundation stone was laid by Pradeep Bal Samanta, Hon’ble Minister for Cooperation, Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts, and Krushna Chandra Patra, Hon’ble Minister for Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, along with the Hon’ble MLA of Mahanga.
On this occasion, the Additional District Magistrate of Cuttack, DRCS Cuttack, district-level officials, and a large number of farmer brothers were present.
